Our Process
Advanced Whitening uses the most advanced, innovative teeth whitening system available. While most companies use the outdated “tray method”, the Advanced Whitening method offers a better solution to whiten one’s teeth. Our kit comes complete with a cheek retractor and an applicator pen with 16% hydrogen peroxide. Our easy to use applicator pen allows for controlled, consistent coverage which virtually eliminates any pain or sensitivity issues. Once the hydrogen peroxide gel is applied, simply sit back and relax under our LED whitening light. The light accelerator lamp operates within the blue light spectrum, which is ideal for hydrogen peroxide. The blue light is cold but the LED’s give off just enough heat to raise the temperature of the gel for maximum whitening effects.
Advantages of the Advanced Whitening System
- Our 16% hydrogen peroxide gel is more effective. This is the highest concentration of gel used in cosmetic teeth whitening. With most tray systems, the whitening agent is carbamide peroxide (which ultimately breaks down into hydrogen peroxide). If trays are used in conjunction with a LED lamp, only 12% hydrogen peroxide can be used due to sensitivity issues related to the tray mouthpiece.
- There is no mouth tray interfering between the light and the teeth. This means you get maximum whitening effect because there is no light defraction with the Advanced Whitening system.
- It is safer because the gel is applied directly onto the teeth instead of into a tray. Our method eliminates the guess work of how much gel to use. If too much gel is applied in a tray, the excess squeezes onto the gums, which causes the sensitivity.
- You get complete, consistent coverage with our applicator pen which enables you to get a more uniform whitening. With the tray method, if enough gel is not used, not all of the teeth get a uniform whitening. This means that some parts of the teeth will be whiter than others.
- We offer all of our customers a double session whitening session (two fifteen minute sessions). While most companies charge extra for double sessions, Advanced Whitening understands that in most instances, a customer needs two sessions to maximize the whitening effect. Thus, you get more value with Advanced Whitening.
